Other things, however, aren’t exactly uniquely Singaporean, but plainly unique on their own. For instance, leaving a baby stroller on your air conditioner’s compressor.
Choa Chu Kang Residents Spot Baby Stroller on 10th Floor Air Conditioner Compressor
On Saturday (14 December), a Singaporean looked out of her window and saw a baby stroller on top of an air conditioner compressor on the opposite HDB block.
The HDB block in question? Block 554 of Choa Chu Kang North 6 — a HDB block located beside Yew Tee Park.
The baby stroller was spotted on the tenth floor of the block. The baby stroller was rather large, and took up quite some space above the compressor.
Wah, macam two-in-one compressor — works for your air conditioner, but also works as a drying rack of sorts.
Another resident in the area interviewed by Shin Min Daily News shared that he noticed the stroller after his family informed him about it.
“The stroller itself is quite heavy, and he placed it on the 10th floor. If it accidentally fell and hit someone, the consequences would be disastrous,” the resident shared.

But what does the man who left the baby stroller on the air conditioner compressor have to say about this?
Well, the man shared that the stroller’s allegedly precarious placement wasn’t a cause for concern. According to the man, the stroller was placed flat and was not tilted.
“The heavier the object, the less likely it is to be blown over. This is normal knowledge of physics,” the man also said.
He added that the stroller was secured using rope, so that it would not fall off the compressor.
Further, he shared that in all the previous times he had hung items from the windowsill or left them on the air conditioner compressor, he had always secured the items using rope. As such, no accidents have ever occurred as a result of his actions.
Well, we hope one doesn’t occur as a result of the baby stroller lah.
The man’s daughter shares the same sentiment that leaving the baby stroller on the air conditioner compressor was safe.
However, the pair will be taking the baby stroller down from the air conditioner compressor given other residents’ safety concerns.
Man Intended to Send Baby Stroller to Someone in Need
The man also added that the baby stroller wasn’t exactly his — he had picked the stroller up from the garbage chute earlier that day and brought it home.
The man shared that he intended to wash and dry it before sending the baby stroller off to someone in need in JB.
