Famed Chinese filmmaker-producer Zhang Jizhong is already 72, but he is also ready to be a father again.
His 42-year-old wife Du Xinglin recently took to social media to announce that she is pregnant
The post showed pictures of a pregnancy test kit with a positive result and ultrasound scans.
“I’m happy to welcome a baby dragon at the age of 42. A child is a gift from God and a blessing,” she wrote.
She also revealed that she’s 50 days pregnant.
Jizhong and Xinglin got married in 2017, and it is his third marriage.
Despite their 31 year age difference, the couple wasted no time in growing their family.
Jizhong and Xinglin already two kids together, a five-year-old son, and a four-year-old daughter.
His eldest child from his first marriage is Sarah Zhang, the CEO of Chinese media company, Mandala Film and Television.
His second kid is eight-year-old Martin, who often appears in family pictures.
Martin’s mixed-race appearance has led many to wonder on the identity of his birth mum, who remains a mystery.
