When you have been married for a while, sometimes it’s important to remind yourself why you fell in love with each other in the first place.
Ex-Mediacorp actor Dai Xiangyu, 39, and his Chinese actress wife Chen Zihan, 46, seem to be great at doing that.
Recently, the actress took to her Weibo to share a video about her eighth wedding anniversary with Xiangyu.
In her post, Zihan shared that she took Xiangyu to a bridal photography studio to shoot a new set of wedding photos as an anniversary gift.
Instead of choosing a bridal gown, Zihan picked out a black tuxedo for herself. She then made Xiangyu wear the wedding dress.
While Xiangyu appeared unwilling, he quickly realised he had no choice.
This time, the roles were reversed with Zihan asking for Xiangyu’s hand in marriage in the photos.
As loving and adorable as they were, Zihan couldn’t help but point out how “ugly” her husband looked in a dress.
And he agrees.
“I really am ugly,” wrote Xiangyu when sharing her post. You know, like an old married couple.
