Dua Lipa Will be Performing in Singapore on 6 November 2024

Hey, Dua Lipa fans, after Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran and Coldplay, it is now your turn to Dance the Night away!

(But alas, you will have to fight through the ticketing war to get there.)

Honestly, having a Singapore stop for their world tour seems to be on every music artiste’s bingo card these days, but who is complaining?

My wallet. My wallet is complaining. Please have mercy.

The English-Albanian pop star is coming back to Singapore for a concert at the Indoor Stadium on 6 November 2024 at 8PM as part of her Radical Optimism Tour.

She will also be stopping in cities like Jakarta, Manila, Tokyo, Taipei, Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok and Seoul.

Dua Lipa performed in Singapore twice in 2018 – once at The Star Theatre and another during the Singapore Grand Prix. She also did a private show at JW Marriott Hotel Singapore South Beach in 2017.

The tour announcement follows the release of Lipa’s third album, “Radical Optimism”, which clinched number one spots in 11 countries.

In the UK, it marked the biggest album debut of 2024 for a UK artist and achieved the highest first-week sales by a UK female artist since 2021.

The British pop sensation continues to captivate audiences worldwide with a slew of chart-topping hits such as “New Rules”, “Don’t Start Now”, and “Levitating”.

The 28-year-old singer-songwriter is also known for her catchy pop-disco song “Dance The Night” from the Barbie (2023) movie soundtrack.

Lipa’s music transcends borders and has earned her widespread acclaim and numerous awards, including Grammy Awards, Brit Awards, and MTV Europe Music Awards. She continues to solidify her position as one of the most influential artists in contemporary music, enchanting audiences with her distinctive voice and infectious energy.

To date, Dua Lipa has won three Grammys – Best New Artist and Best Dance Recording for Electricity (2018), and Best Pop Vocal Album for her second album Future Nostalgia (2020).

Also performing in Singapore on November 6 is R&B singer-producer Ne-Yo. Pre-sale registration for his show, part of his Champagne & Roses Tour, is now open on Sistic. He last performed in Singapore in 2023.

Pop music fans can also look forward to upcoming performances by Conan Gray in September, Olivia Rodrigo in October, and Cigarettes After Sex in February 2025!
