Has veteran Hong Kong singer, Johnny Yip Chun Tong, 80, found love again?
Back in the ‘80s, Johnny was the voice behind the theme songs for numerous Hong Kong dramas. He was also in a high-profile relationship with Hong Kong actress Yu Feng.
Johnny and Yu Feng met while working on a project in 1990. They lived together for 20 years, and even though they never got married, many saw them as husband and wife.
Yu Feng also took care of Johnny, who suffered from eye problems, and even helped manage his work schedules.
In 2015, Yu Feng passed away from stomach cancer at the age of 63. Johnny was heartbroken by her death, and would go on to say he had no interest in finding a new partner.
However, it seems Johnny is finally ready to move on.
According to reports, Johnny met his new girlfriend, a woman in her thirties from Mainland China, at a gathering some years back. The two were said to have hit it off and started dating soon after.
The couple were recently spotted on a date, looking very loving, their arms interlocked as they walked down the street.
According to the netizen who shared the photos online, the pair were seen in Tsim Sha Tsui. They also added that Johnny looked “to be in good health and spirits”.
