Moses Chan, 53, and Aimee Chan, 43, are known to be one of the sweetest couples in Hong Kong showbiz. They tied the knot in 2013 and now have three kids, Aiden Joshua, 10, Nathan Lucas, nine, and Camilla, eight.
Moses and Aimee celebrated their 11th wedding anniversary in Seoul earlier this month and they had photos professionally taken at a studio to commemorate the occasion.
Aimee would later share the pics on Instagram, with the caption: “I will always love you. ❤️Happy Anniversary, my dearest.”
Moses was seen in an all-white Korean-style baggy ‘fit, while Aimee dressed in a casual long-sleeved white shirt and tan berms.
While they looked super loving and adorable in the photos, many couldn’t help but notice that Moses looked slightly…off.
Netizens wasted no time in pointing out that the pics were heavily photoshopped. Moses’ dark eye circles were completely removed, and his skin was airbrushed and whitened. Basically, he was given the “Oppa photoshoot” treatment.
“Has Moses become a K-pop idol?” joked one netizen, while another commented: “Moses looks kinda weird here.”
One netizen even directed a comment at Aimee, which read: “I really couldn’t recognise the handsome guy beside you!”
While many others sent the happy couple their blessings, they also didn’t neglect to mention that they preferred the pair looking more natural.
While it is possible that Aimee had edited the photos herself prior to posting them, it is highly likely the pics were edited by the Korean photo studio according to their beauty standards.
We suppose while you’re in Korea, you get heavily airbrushed?
