Mark Lee’s Wife Had Cornea Surgery After She Was Hit In The Right Eye By A Ball

On Wednesday night (Jul 10), Mark Lee’s wife Catherine Ng revealed on her Instagram that she had gone for surgery at Mount Alvernia Hospital.

In the photo, Cat was wearing a hospital gown and had a plaster above her right eye.

Chinese media zaobao.sg reached out to Mark Gor yesterday (Jul 11) to find out what happened to Cat.

According to the 55-year-old actor, his wife hurt her right cornea and had to be admitted to the hospital for surgery.

He shared that about two months ago, a kid had kicked a ball in Cat’s direction, hitting her in the right eye.

Cat did not think too much about what happened and went on with life as usual.

However, during their recent family trip to the Maldives with their three kids — Calista, 15, Marksonn, 12, and Calynn, 10 — Cat started to feel discomfort in her eye.

After the holiday, she went for a check-up and was told that something was wrong with her cornea.

“If she didn’t go for surgery and the condition worsens, it might affect her eyesight [in the future],” he said.
