You know that “Ouch” feeling when people say you look older than someone who’s actually your senior?
Hong Kong actresses Cecilia Yip, 61, and Angie Chiu, 70, saw their careers peak again when they starred in 1992 period drama The Legend of the White Snake.
The 50-episode drama was a massive hit across Asia and still remains one of the most popular adaptations of the folk legend Legend of the White Snake.
The pair recently made a guest appearance at the premiere of new Chinese animated movie Bai She: Fu Sheng, which is also an adaptation of the classic story.
At the event, Angie, who’s known for her ageless beauty, appeared elegant as always in a bright red cheongsam.
Cecilia, on the other hand, donned a chic all-white outfit which complemented her greying pixie cut.
This was the first time the stars have reunited in 32 years and netizens were naturally very excited, praising both stars for their beauty.
Some netizens, however, struggled to believe Angie that is almost a decade older than Cecilia, especially because of the latter’s white hair.
But kudos to Cecilia for being true to herself and embracing her age.
