Since winning two golds at the recent Paris Olympics, South Korean sabre fencer Oh Sang-uk has won many fans internationally, gaining more than 80K new followers in under three days.
Well, they will have more to cheer about as the 28-year-old is in the September 2024 issue of fashion magazine W Korea.
Nicknamed “Monster” by some of his fans due to his height (he’s 1.92m tall), Sang-uk showed off his physique, causing fans to nearly faint over the pictures.
Is that what he has been hiding under that unflattering fencing outfit?
According to insiders, Sang-uk did the photoshoot just 24 hours after returning from Paris.
Netizens have gone on to praise his looks, with many saying he has the perfect “double-door refrigerator” body possessed by K-idols. We’re guessing they’re saying he’s built.
Others also say he resembles popular K-drama heartthrob Byeon Woo Seok in the editorial spread.
“I was not expecting him to show that much skin. Not that I’m complaining!” gushed a netizen, while another said that “fencing is more interesting since he [Sang-uk] is in the sport”.
But sorry ladies, it seems the two-time Olympian is off the shelves.
Sang-uk has been dating a fellow fencer Hong Hyo-jin for a few years now though they both have been incredibly private about their relationship.
