Say what you want about Jackie Chan’s aging looks but the Hong Kong action star is still one of the most recognisable men in the world.
In fact, the 70-year-old movie legend is so iconic, he even made fanboys out of a couple of French police officers.
The 70-year-old actor was in Paris as one of the torchbearers for the opening of the Paralympics last Wednesday (Aug 28).
The actor last served as a torchbearer in 2008 ahead of the Beijing Games.
Videos posted to social media showed Jackie accepting picture requests from two police officers on duty who stopped the star for a photo.
Netizens in the comments said it looked like Jackie was the most down-to-earth celeb they have come across and was seen “taking photos with fans all day and night” with anyone that asked.
A fan even wrote that it looked like “Police Story becoming a reality” referring to the iconic film that has spawned three sequels, one spin-off, and two reboots.
Jackie also drew cheering fans wearing T-shirts with his name as he carried the Olympic flame from the Champ-Elysees to the Place de la Concorde.
There were even some who were seen waving banners with the words “Kung Fu Legend” during the procession.
