But after looking into the area, it’s clear that Old Klang Road has transformed over the past few years.

From being a hub of heritage spots and multi-generational homes, it’s now turned into a vibrant neighbourhood where younger families can enjoy balanced lifestyles.

Here are three reasons we’ve found why it makes such a fitting location for those looking to prioritise work-life balance.

Meanwhile, the NPE, a crucial expressway in the Klang Valley, eases access from Subang Jaya and Bandar Sunway to Kuala Lumpur, helping to bypass traffic jams on the Federal Highway Route 2.

There may also be the addition of a Jalan Klang Lama station for the upcoming MRT Circle Line (otherwise known as MRT3). With the new MRT3, KL Sentral will be just two stops away, which connects you to the airport and the rest of the city centre.

As the economy and ecommerce sectors expand, the area is expected to experience significant growth, attracting more job opportunities and enhancing overall quality of life. This economic vitality directly contributes to a balanced lifestyle by providing residents with better job prospects and more local amenities.

The realtors also noted that the area’s real estate remains one of the more affordable options in KL, making it an attractive choice for first-home buyers who value both investment potential and a comfortable living environment. 

They added that younger homebuyers tend to prefer developments with excellent facilities, such as having nearby malls like the recently refurbished Pearl Point Shopping Mall, Mid Valley Megamall, The Gardens Mall, and Pavilion Bukit Jalil. 

This blend of economic growth, accessible amenities, and future prospects demonstrates how Old Klang Road supports a well-rounded lifestyle. It’s a neighbourhood that holds long-term value, making freehold properties like Radium Arena particularly attractive in areas like this.
