Want to celebrate your birthday in a memorable way? Thinking of a special surprise for your friend they will never forget? Perhaps you would want to visit this Mookata place in Tanglin.
Earlier this year, popular Bangkok restaurant Staneemeehoi, which is known for their saucy Thai Hot Guys waiters, and local eatery Mr Mookata joined hands to open Mr Mookata Plus, a Thai barbecue restaurant located at Phoenix Park.
The opening of the restaurant wasn’t without issues. Four of the Thai hunks who were set to perform at the event were denied entry into Singapore. We shan’t go into details, but you can read about the incident here. Eventually, over 10 Singaporean hunks were hired to perform at the opening instead.
And it looks like these Singaporean hunks have totally stepped up to the plate.
A video posted by Mr Mookata Plus on Xiaohongshu sees these muscled men, all wearing jeans and only an apron, welcoming a blindfolded bride-to-be into their eatery during what looks like her bridal shower.
Two of the hunks linked their arms together, forming a ‘throne’ for her. They then hoisted her up and carried her into the restaurant, all while another hunk watched her from the back, ensuring her safety.
She was then welcomed by more fit guys until she got to her seat.
Some netizens got really cheeky with their comments.
“I’m 90kg, can I celebrate my birthday here?” asked one netizen, while another wrote: “Can guys get this service too?”
According to the restaurant’s replies, the hunks do this for their guests “free of charge”, and are literally ready to take on the weight of any requests.
If you get lucky, they will even peel your prawns and feed you at your table.
