Woman Comes Home To Giant Bee Hive At Balcony After Being Away For A Few Days

Imagine returning home after a short holiday only to be greeted by bees?

A Taiwanese woman by the user name Whaox on Threads shared a video of a hive of bees that have swarmed into a huge ball on her clothes-drying pole.

It seems the bees were finding shelter from the then-incoming Typhoon Krathon.

“The typhoon might have made landfall, but bees have built a nest at the balcony outside my room. It looks so scary!” she wrote.

It seems she was at a loss at what to do as she was seen commenting on her on post writing, “I’m really going to freak out!”

Well, we would have too.

According to Whaox, she initially planned to call for help after the typhoon passed, but the hive grew significantly bigger the following night.

Ultimately, she had a mum bravely wrapping the hive in a plastic bag before throwing it out.

While we are amazed at how courageous her mum is but umm… the environmentalist in this writer is asking wasn’t there a better way considering how important bees are to the eco-system.

It seems she isn’t the only one facing these unexpected visitors.

Netizens took to the comments posting their… bee encounters since news of the incoming typhoon.

A netizen who claimed to be an expert assured Whaox that what she is seeing is called swarming and is usually harmless.

“These bees are currently finding a new home and are at their most docile,” read the comment.

Others felt the scene was hilarious and poked fun at Whaox’s situation.

“Will you be able to harvest honey from the hive?”

Sure, maybe in a beekeeper suit?
