Simonboy Surprises Simongirl With SK Jaguar, Hits Back At Haters Who Say He Laundered Money To Pay For It

“Win together during the ups, and get back on our feet together during the downs,” that was what Simon Khung, aka Simonboy promised his bride Chloe Eong at their wedding in July.

It looks like the 37-year-old TikTok star has kept to his word, showing Chloe what it means to ‘win together’ in good times.

It’s no secret that Simon has been doing well for himself. He runs production company Peace Street Productions, has a clothing line Chance, and also co-owns a funeral parlour and a beauty salon.

Simon gave Chloe a diamond Rolex last year, and this year, he outdid himself by surprising his missus with a Jaguar XE.

“When I first started TikTok a lot of friends laughed at me,” said Simon in his video. “Only my family members and a few close friends supported me. And not to forget, my wife Simongirl. ‘You chose to be with me when I had nothing, one day, when I become successful, we will share what I have’ was what I promised her.”

To celebrate their marriage and Chloe’s upcoming maid agency venture, Simon decided to splurge on a gift.

He took Chloe to a car dealership in Kranji, where he made a stunned Chloe guess the model of the ride, which was hidden underneath black cloth and red ribbon.

Chloe guessed Audi and then Peroduo Myvi before Simon lifted the cloth to reveal the grey Jaguar XE as confetti shot into the air.

Simon’s followers were moved by his sweet gesture, with many sharing joy in his success.

A good number also praised him for being “motivational” and “an inspiration” to those wishing to get back up on their feet again after facing similar challenges in life.

However, with all the support also comes the naysayers.

Yesterday (Oct 16), Simon posted an IG story, addressing those who accused him of “laundering money”.

“I don’t mean to be rude, but all these people are really loser. Just because I work my ass off for the entire year and downpay 30 per cent of a S$60K car, they put negative remarks that I “wash” money etc. If money [is] so easy to wash, I don’t need to be lack of sleep every day. Every breadwinner in Singapore doesn’t need to work already. Wash money… one day I will wash your mouth,” read his snappy response.

You know what they say about dealing with haters: the best way to get back at them is to be successful. And Simonboy and Simongirl are well on their way there.
