Nancy Wu & Tavia Yeung Quash Feud Rumours After Actresses Seen Looking Chummy At Roger Kwok’s Party

Hong Kong actor Roger Kwok recently turned 60 and threw a birthday bash that saw the presence of some of the biggest past and present TVB stars.

Among the celebs spotted in Roger’s Instagram pics were Wong Cho Lam and his wife Leanne Li, Kenneth Ma, Him Law, Ben Wong, Hera Chan, and Kalok Chow.

It was one star-studded party, but what caught the attention of netizens were two actresses in particular – Tavia Yeung and Nancy Wu – and how chummy they appeared in snaps, posing with their arms around each other.

For the uninformed, the pair were rumoured to be on bad terms after Tavia was caught on camera snubbing Nancy at the 2010 TVB Anniversary Awards.

Footage of Tavia allegedly bumping Nancy with her shoulder and looking dismissively at her, before turning her back to chat with Kate Tsui, went viral.

Gifs of the infamous scene can still be found on the Internet today (scroll down to see gif below).

The media lapped up the drama, calling it a “real-life version of Beyond The Realm Of Conscience”, referring to Tavia’s hit 2009 TVB period drama about palace intrigue and scheming consorts.

It also sparked heated debates between fans of Tavia and Nancy, and the actresses had to address speculations, clarifying that there was no bad blood between them.

Rumour has it that Tavia and Nancy, who were once very close, fell out after they were both allegedly interested in their Twin of Brothers co-star Ron Ng.

Tavia was also reportedly angry that Nancy had split with then-boyfriend Kenneth Ma, who’s Tavia’s pal, to be with Ron. Both actresses have denied this.
