Southeast Asia’s logistics provider Ninja Van Group has centralised its finance and operations data, replacing manual, error-prone spreadsheet processes.

With a single system in place, it has made collecting, organising, and reporting financial data easy.

The group has adopted Workday Adaptive Planning, a cloud-based enterprise performance management (EPM) software.

Recently, the group has introduced new services including B2B restocking and cold chain delivery.

Ninja Van Singapore’s country head, Justina Sim, said aggregating, reconciling, and reporting data was previously a time-consuming and error-prone process, limiting the analysis the FP&A team could perform.

The lack of standardised data formats made regional consolidation challenging.

With Workday’s integrated approach, the group has a single source of truth for financial data, Sim said.

This empowers teams to make informed, data-driven decisions that support strategic growth initiatives and enhance competitive advantage, Sim added.

Following the deployment, Ninja Van Group can standardise data collection from sources and store it in a shared repository.

Workday’s user-friendly interface avoids the need for complex programming or formulas and allows reports to be generated through drag-and-drop functions.

Employees benefit from the ability to produce automated reports, which can be shared with stakeholders.
