The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) received a call for assistance shortly after at 11 Eunos Road 8, which corresponds to LLI’s address. The police were also alerted to the incident.

CPR was also performed on the 71-year-old, who was allegedly lying motionless in a pool of blood.

The SCDF then conveyed the woman to Changi General Hospital, which is approximately a 12-minute drive away from LLI. She was unconscious while being conveyed to the hospital.

Unfortunately, the 71-year-old subsequently passed away at the hospital.

40-Year-Old Dead After Falling Off Building in Punggol

The 71-year-old’s unfortunate death is far from the only death caused by falling off a building recently. In fact, there was another case of such a death just this month.

On Thursday (5 December), a 40-year-old man was found dead at the foot of Block 409B Northshore Drive in Punggol. The police were alerted to the case at around 1:30 pm that day.

However, the Northshore Drive case was much more gruesome. According to Stomp, half of the deceased’s body was on the road while the other half was on a playground garden.

The fence at the area was also dented, possibly due to the impact caused by the 40-year-old’s fall.

Based on preliminary investigations, the police did not suspect foul play in this case either. However, police investigations are also ongoing.
