Who says boy bands can only be made up of young and handsome oppas?
These five TVB stars — Raymond Cho, 60, Ben Wong, 57, Michael Tong, 55, Evergreen Mak, 56, and Johnson Lee, 50 — have come together to form boyband, Hey Brother.
According to reports, it all started last year when Raymond, Ben, Michael and Evergreen joined hands to participate in Johnson’s Celebrity Family Feud, aka TVB’s version of American gameshow Family Feud.
The audience loved the gang’s camaraderie, and so, together with Johnson this time, they recorded their own remake of Chinese New Year song ‘Blessing You’.
The music video for the song has since garnered close to 120K views and many netizens are saying the group of uncles is possibly more popular than actual Hong Kong boy bands, Super Tiger and Loong 9.
No surprises then that the actors have plans to make the group official and are also preparing to release a new song.
