While the name Ella Gross may not ring a bell, you may have seen her face on fashion campaigns or just find it familiar.
The 16-year-old Korean-American model went viral at just 10 due to her striking Pan-Asian looks and uncanny resemblance to K-pop girl group Blackpink’s Jennie, earning her the nickname “Little Jennie”.
Last week, Ella stole the spotlight when she attended a Tiffany & Co event.
Dressed in a simple yet elegant black mini dress and heels, netizens were captivated by how stunning she looked.
She was praised for being “beautiful since childhood”, and some even called her a “doll-faced, cool beauty” and “real-life Disney princess”.
Born in Los Angeles to a Korean mother and a German-American father, Ella began modelling at the age of two after she was scouted at a park in Korea.
By seven years old, she had already shot campaigns for international brands like Zara, GAP and Abercrombie & Fitch.
She has also appeared in series such as Netflix’s Malibu Rescue and Star Trek: Picard.
Ella’s younger brother Roman, 14, is also a child actor. He appeared in 2022 Jordan Peele dark sci-fi movie Nope.
In September this year, Ella made her K-pop debut as a member of new girl group Meovv (pronounced ‘meow’) under YG Entertainment’s sub-label The Black Label.
The quintet has gained significant attention due to its members’ stunning looks and are dubbed the “second generation Blackpink”.
