We get how excited fans must feel when they finally get to see their idols up close. But still, safety first. Please.
Recently, fans of ex-TVB actor Ron Ng took to Xiaohongshu to share videos they had taken of the 45-year-old star at an event in Foshan, China.
Ron, who saw a surge in his popularity in China after participating in 2022’s Call Me By Fire 2, was visibly taken aback by the number of fans waiting for him at the venue.
Ron was seen shaking his head and taking a deep breath before making his way through the mosh pit of fans. All of whom eagerly stuck their hands out for high-fives and handshakes.
The situation became so chaotic Ron, who was accompanied by an entourage of security guards, had to repeatedly tell his fans to “not push” in Cantonese.
He even used his hands to gesture “stop” as he told his fans to wait and be careful.
That didn’t help much.
The fans continued to push forward, with some even yanking Ron’s sweater so that they could get closer to the star.
At some point, Ron even lost his balance and fell forward.
Honestly, why would fans put their idol through something like this?
