Chinese Actor Idol Loses Temper & Has Scuffle With Stalker

Since debuting as a trainee of talent search competition, Produce Camp 2019, Chinese idol Yu Cheng En’s popularity has skyrocketed, appearing in a slew of dramas, with five more on the way.

However, it seems the sudden fame might have gnawed at the 26-year-old’s patience and was recently caught on video losing his temper in public.

In what seems to be an attempt to avoid recognition, Cheng En was seen waiting quietly by the road in a baseball cap and wearing a mask.

However, the actor was still spotted by a die-hard fan who had apparently been trailing him all over Shanghai.

The fan was not dissuaded even after being asked by Cheng En to stop recording.

Cheng En then lost his temper and aggressively swiped the stalker’s phone away, leading to a brief altercation.

Cheng En’s bodyguards then tried to stop the tussle, with the actor heard shouting, “Stop recording! Why are you still recording?”

After the incident, Cheng En’s fan club issued a statement condemning the stalker’s actions.

According to them, the fan had obtained Cheng En’s schedule illegally to track his whereabouts.

“The fan club strongly condemns his behaviour on behalf of all his fans,” read the statement before defending Cheng En’s actions saying he always had a good attitude.

However, netizen reactions were mixed after the video went viral.

While some were empathetic towards Cheng En, saying anyone would have lost their cool if being stalked to that extent.

But others went on to say this is the price to pay for being one of the most popular Chinese actors now.

Or maybe he could have gotten better security during his personal time.
