K-drama casting news about Go Min-si in Hong Sisters show, Rain in Bloodhounds 2 and more

The top Korean drama series writing duo have signed on to script a new show, while among the major casting announcements in our latest round-up is news of a K-pop luminary taking on his first villain role in a Netflix sequel series.

1. Untitled Hong Sisters drama

This series will follow Can This Love Be Translated?, another Hong Sisters creation starring Kim Seon-ho and Go Youn-jung, which is in post-production and preparing to release on Netflix this year.

Although casting is well under way, no plot details have been revealed so far for the series. The only titbit that has been shared is that the show is not a sequel to the series Hotel Del Luna, something many fans have been waiting for.

Active in TV and film productions, Go recently had a memorable turn as a villainess in the Netflix mystery thriller The Frog. She also appeared in the third and final season of Sweet Home last summer. She will soon be seen opposite Kang Ha-neul in the drama Your Taste.
Cha, whose popularity exploded following his role in True Beauty, is currently filming the superhero-themed K-drama The Wonderfools alongside Park Eun-bin.

2. Lotte 1st Place Winner Goes to Work

Currently starring opposite Han Ji-min in the popular office romcom Love Scout, Lee Joon-hyuk is reported to have locked in his next project, the drama Lotto 1st Place Winner Goes to Work.
