Fans Worried For S.H.E After The Trio Were Spotted Not Wearing Masks In Japan As Flu Cases There Rise

Most people would be extra cautious in Japan now considering that flu cases there are on the rise.

The country is also where late Taiwanese actress Barbie Hsu, 48, died from influenza-related pneumonia last week (Feb 2).

As per reports, Japan set a new record of 317,812 weekly influenza cases for December, with Influenza A, which was what Barbie was said to be down with, accounting for about 98 per cent of the cases during the recent outbreak.

But former Taiwanese girl group S.H.E doesn’t seem to alarmed about that though.

Recently, a netizen took to Xiaohongshu to share that they bumped into the members — Selina Jen, 43, Hebe Tien, 41, and Ella Chen, 43 — while on a vacation in Japan.

The ladies were said be travelling without other family members, which led fans to think that it was a gals trip solely between them.

While fans are usually thrilled to see the members reunite, they were also concerned about one thing.

Why weren’t they wearing masks?

One fan also said they were casually walking around and chatting on the streets with their faces completely exposed.

Netizens have since flooded the post with comments pleading the trio to take better safety precautions and to wear masks.

We can only hope that the ladies have at least taken their flu vaccines before their vacation?
