Viral Indonesian Helper In SG Sent Back To Maid Agency — “I Don’t Want Her To Leave” Employer’s Son Says

Remember Elsa, the Indonesian helper in Singapore who went viral last year because she’s so stylo milo?

At that time, Elsa made her rounds on the Internet after her employer, Mu Yun Jia, a Mainland Chinese single mum living in Singapore, posted a video on Xiaohongshu about how good looking she is.

Elsa is known to sport a cool quiff haircut and she’s typically seen in baggy T-shirts and berms.

Yun Jia also previously said that she had to intentionally doll herself up whenever she goes out with Elsa after people have mistaken her as the maid on multiple occasions.

Ever since then, videos of Elsa have won over the hearts of Yun Jia’s followers, many confessing that they only started following the latter because of her helper.

But it looks like we won’t be seeing Elsa in any of Yun Jia’s videos anymore.

Yesterday (Feb 24), Yun Jia shared on Xiaohongshu that she has sent Elsa back to the maid agency.

In the video, Elsa was seen pushing a luggage and leaving their flat together with Yun Jia and her son.

When the camera panned to the young boy, who insisted on carrying Elsa’s backpack for her, he lamented: “I don’t want her to leave”.

“Neither do I want her to,” Yun Jia replied.

The trio then made their way to Katong Shopping Centre, where Elsa’s maid agency, Network Employment Agency, is located.

So why did Yun Jia send Elsa back if she didn’t want her to leave?

In her caption, Yun Jia shared that Elsa had worked for her for nine months and she actually “couldn’t bear” to send her away.

“But I’m constantly flying between China and Singapore for work and I didn’t feel safe letting my helper take care of my kids alone,” she explained.

As a result, Yun Jia’s family decided to fly over from China to help take care of her kids, which was also why she no longer saw a need for a helper.

Despite that, Yun Jie stressed that Elsa has been a great helper and that they’d continue being friends even though the latter is no longer working for her.

She also assured that she’d try her best to help Elsa, who would still be working in Singapore, if she ever faces any difficulties here henceforth.

Netizens were definitely sad to hear about Elsa’s departure from the family, with many lamenting that it’s “such a pity”.

One netizen also pointed out that Elsa must have been devastated too, which explained why she didn’t look into the camera at all in the final video.

“What? We won’t get to see Elsa anymore?,” bleated a netizen with a crying emoji.

Who knows, we might just see Elsa on her next employer’s socials soon.
