Kingone Wang Sued By Confinement Nanny For Complaining To The Media About Her Methods, Which Include Using Boiling Water To Make Baby Formula

When it comes to taking care of a newborn baby, it generally helps when one has the help of a good confinement nanny. Such was not the case for Taiwanese actor-singer Kingone Wang and his wife though.

In fact, the 43-year-old star has some serious beef with his confinement nanny. So serious it has made the news.

Kingone and his wife welcomed their second daughter earlier this year in July. The couple, whose older daughter is five, then hired the confinement nanny to care for their newborn.

However, when he spoke to the media at a public event in August, one month after his daughter was born, Kingone revealed that the nanny had been fired after just five days.

According to him, the nanny was insistent on doing things her way, such as using boiling “100 degrees water” to make baby formula.

Kingone and his wife found it difficult to accept her way of doing things. He eventually asked her to leave after all methods of communication broke down.

Kingone also added that his wife showed signs of postnatal depression due to the stress from the situation.

The problems did not end there. The confinement nanny was unhappy with Kingone’s accusations, and in turn, sued the actor for damaging her reputation.

When asked by the media about the court case, which took place earlier this week (Nov 22), Kingone simply said he was there to settle “a family matter”.

His agency also released a statement, saying: “[We’re] quite helpless, but the case is currently under investigation. We will try our best to cooperate. It is not convenient for us to comment on anything else.”
