It seems a couple of people might be berating themselves after realising they were probably standing next to one of Asia’s biggest idols a few days ago.
In a video posted on Saturday (Jan 6), popular Chinese actor Xiao Zhan, 32, is seen strolling the streets of Shanghai before stopping in front of a campaign ad he did for Gucci.
Dressed in black and donning a mask, the star patiently queued with fans for his turn to… take a snapshot of his himself.
“Taking a picture at night. If you have to line up, you have to line up,” wrote the actor on his Weibo.
Xiao Zhan can even be heard chuckling as he observed people engrossed in taking pictures of the ad, with no one realising he was standing meters away from them.
Even after taking his shot in front of the poster, Xiao Zhan kept his anonymity well.
