CNY 2024 falls on the weekend of 10 and 11 February, giving you an additional day off on 12 February.

Since most of your visiting will be done on the first two days, you might be looking for fun things to do on the third day of CNY.

Head down to a cinema to relax and catch one of the two local films just released recently. With Wang Lei, Jack Neo, and other local stars acting in the two movies, you can’t possibly say no to a movie marathon.

More movies are set to air in Singapore in the next few weeks, so there is absolutely no shortage of entertainment this month.

Money No Enough 3

After 16 years, the wait is over. The sequel to 1998’s Money No Enough and 2008’s Money No Enough 2 couldn’t come soon enough.

This movie sees the Jack Neo, Mark Lee, and Henry Thia trio return to the silver screen together.

In this movie, the three of them play lifelong friends who are each facing their own familial and financial problems.

During their attempt to join forces and support each other, their plan falls through when the younger generation challenges the beliefs and value systems of the trio.

With each of their families facing multiple money problems, this movie explores themes like greed, friendship, and trust in-depth, scrutinising the question, “Will money ever be enough?”

Crippling debts and betrayal strain the friendship between the three lifelong friends – can they ever find a way to reconcile?
