Anyone into social media would know how important interaction and engagement is when it comes to driving traffic. It’s why some people ask their friends to leave a like or comment to hype things up a little.
Yesterday (Apr 9), Mediacorp actress Gini Chang, 29, took to her Instagram Stories to share a hilarious moment on set with her co-stars Mediacorp actor Cavin Soh, 53, as well as Noontalk Media stars Zong Zijie, 28, and Xu Bin, 35.
In the video, Zijie is seen commenting on a reel Cavin had just posted on his Instagram. Gini could be heard chuckling: “This is where comments come from… [Cavin is] So controlling.”
Zijie then turned to the camera and lamented: “I was just sitting here and [Cavin] told me: ‘Eh, can you quickly go to my post and interact a little?’.”
While Zijie obliged Cavin’s request, it’s safe to assume that what he had written was not exactly what Cavin had in mind.
His comment on Cavin’s post, which was a video of a gloomy Singapore skyline, was: “Wahhh what is that? (not being forced to comment this).”
Cavin’s response when he saw the comment was to cuss instinctively.
It appears that Zijie wasn’t the only one coerced into interacting on Cavin’s post.
Xu Bin also left a similar comment, to which Cavin replied: “You two having high tea is it?”
Even Cavin’s Cash On Delivery co-star Richie Koh joined in the fun to tease Cavin by copy and pasting Zijie’s comment.
Well, you can’t say there was no engagement right?
