Has former TVB actress Ashley Chu Chi Yin (朱智賢) lost it?
In a video shared on Ashley’s Instagram on Tuesday (Apr 9), the 37-year-old Big White Duel star was seen in a bathroom wearing a bathrobe with a purple towel wrapped around her head and putting on a sheet mask.
Then a voice can be heard asking: “You forgot you have a flight to catch today?”
The next shot then shows the clip Ashley sprinting in the airport while still in the same get-up.
The video went on to show multiple shots of Ashley running around different parts of the airport with the caption: “When you are catching [a] flight [at the] last minute”.
While we’re sure Ashley filmed the video just for the LOLs, it appears that netizens didn’t get her humour.
In fact, many felt that she was behaving like a “crazy woman” who would do anything “just to get likes” on social media.
“So crazy, [you] went into the airport looking like this just for a reel,” scoffed one netizen.
Even Ashley’s gal pal TVB actress Kaman Kong couldn’t resist commenting: “Hi! Castle Peak [Mental] Hospital! Did you lose one of your patients?”
Ashley left TVB last year after 10 years. In 2020, she made headlines when she admitted to having an affair with her married Brain Eating Zombie co-star Jackson Lai. At that time, she was dating TVB actor Brian Tse.
