It’s been 25 years since Taiwanese actors Ruby Lin, 47, and Alec Su, 50, starred in hit Chinese series My Fair Princess, and the pair are still very good friends.
When Alec directed 2016 thriller The Devotion of Suspect X, he invited Ruby to star in it.
He recently made a guest appearance in the actress’ new reality show Our Wonderful Life.
The show sees Ruby and her Chinese stars Xie Na, 41, and Yang Zi, 31, transforming a house in a Chinese countryside into a bed and breakfast with the help of their celeb friends.
In a recent episode, the cast were sitting around chatting and the topic somehow drifted to Ruby’s wedding. She tied the knot with Chinese actor Wallace Huo at the Bulgari Resort in Bali in 2016.
“Were you the first one to know that she was getting married?” Xie Na asked Alec. He replied, “I probably wasn’t the first to know about the wedding.”
Xie Na then asked Ruby how many people in showbiz found out about it before he did. As she tried to do the math mentally, Alec blurted out: “I found out about it from the internet.”
