Alibaba’s Jack Ma Seen Golfing At S’pore’s Laguna National Club

Alibaba co-founder Jack Ma was recently in Singapore, according to a netizen, who saw the jet-setting Chinese billionaire at a golf course.

A Xiaohongshu user, whose handle translates to “Singapore Know-It-All Vaster, posted a video of the 60-year-old on Feb 10, saying he “looked relaxed while playing golf”.

“A netizen happened to spot him at a local golf course, dressed in a blue top, white pants, and a red cap, giving off a youthful vibe,” read the caption.

From the buggy and turquoise glass building in the background, it appears to be Laguna National Golf Resort Club.

In the clip, he can be seen finishing a swing and walking back to his buggy.

While the video is a bit far, his walk, with his arms swinging vigorously, and build, look a lot like the Chinese entrepreneur.

Jack has kept a low profile since 2020 following his criticism of China’s financial and banking systems.

In late 2021, he left China and has been seen in snaps in Japan, Spain, Australia and Thailand. He reportedly moved to Japan in 2022.

Jack also owns properties in Singapore.

In 2019, the Business Times reported he was building a two-storey villa in Victoria Park Close in the Holland area.

And in 2024, his wife Zhang Ying reportedly purchased three Duxton Road shophouses for about S$50 million.
