Two men, Peng Wende, 21, and Huang Shengye, 22, have been arrested.

The men claimed they were having drinks when they happened to see Jacky hosting a show on TV.

Enraged by his hosting style, they decided to vandalise the cafe.

They were prosecuted by the Taipei District Prosecutors Office yesterday (Jun 18) for damage and public intimidation.

Upon hearing hearing that the men have been charged, Jacky said: “[You] should have expected this when you are in triads.”

When asked if he had any personal grudges with the men, the host replied: “You can judge for yourselves. Is Taiwanese society as simple as you think?”

He stressed that he has always been kind to others, adding: “If you have the ability, investigate thoroughly. Let bygones be bygones.”
