Mention a First-Class experience in the skies, and Singapore Airlines comes to mind.
In the video posted online, Chinese actor Hu Bing shared that he had taken 18 flights over 10 days to review the First-Class offerings of the world’s top 10 airlines.
The 53-year-old was seen boarding an A380 from Shanghai to Singapore, the only plane model in the world that offers cabin suites for its First-Class passengers.
According to the Skytrax World Airline Awards, Singapore Airlines took the top award as the World’s Best First Class Airline and Best First Class Airline Seat this year.
Showing off the finer details of the suite such as the comfy seat being able to turn 45 degrees towards the dining table during mealtimes.
“It feels like a sleeper berth on a train,” he said.
In addition to a pair of Bang & Olufsen headphones, Hu Bing also previewed the amenities kit which he admitted was a little lacking.
However, he later realised that the fancy changing room was well stocked with everything he thought was missing from the kit earlier.
Hu Bing also donned the set of pyjamas though it seemed they were a size too small for him.
Well, can’t say we are surprised considering the former actor is 1.9m tall.
He even tested the bed saying, “If I can fit into this bed, anyone can.”
Looks like the perfect fit.
Hu Bing also shared with his followers that as long as you fly with Singapore Airlines, there’s always Chinese food available.
At the end of the video, he even gave high ratings across the board for his flight, highlighting the inflight entertainment.
A downside according to Hu Bing is that the A380 is not being produced anymore and is slowly being phased out.
Singapore Airlines has retired seven of its A380, leaving only 12 planes of this model.
We wonder if this will see a huge influx of travellers aiming to sit in one of those gorgeous suites.
