Is this what we call a boss from hell?
The shady doings of a 52-year-old Chinese female government official, Zhong Yang, has recently been exposed.
The Ji’an native, who served as governor of Guizhou Province’s Qiannan Prefecture, has reportedly been charged for accepting bribes exceeding 60mil yuan (S$10.9mil). She was expelled from the governing party, and sentenced to 13 years in prison.
During the investigation of her case, it was revealed that Zhong Yang had improper relations and affairs with, believe it or not, 58 of her male subordinates.
A clip with the porn movie-ish title “She needs10 men to take their turn on her each time” has also gone viral online.
According to Chinese media, some of the 58 male subordinates slept with Zhong Yang as they believed it would help them in their careers.
Others had no choice but to give in to her advances as they were afraid of offending someone with so much power.
Chinese news outlet Xinhua reported that Zhong Yang has been sacked from the Guizhou Provincial Party and stripped of her qualifications. Her actions were deemed as a severe violation of the party’s personal and professional conduct guidelines.
The court also found her guilty of misusing her power to solicit bribes during her tenure.
She had been a part of the Chinese Communist Party since 1994.
Zhong Yang has since expressed regret for her actions, saying she’s ashamed of what she’s done. She also said that she now has to live with the consequences of “coveting things that weren’t hers”.
Well, that’s one way of putting it.
