Bowling has long been a popular sport in Singapore, with people of all ages competing to get the perfect strike. Hence, it comes as no surprise that there are plenty of bowling alleys scattered throughout Singapore. They range from casual, themed alleys to industry-standard ones, catered towards every age and skill level.
Here is a cost breakdown of bowling alleys in Singapore and how much they will cost you.
Costs Of Bowling
Before one can roll a ball down the lane, there are a few things that will be needed.
Firstly, you will need socks to wear the rental shoes. Bowling alleys do sell them, but you can bring your own too. If you wish to purchase the socks at the alley, they will cost around $2.
Secondly, you will need a pair of bowling shoes. Bowling shoe rental usually costs between $1.50- $2.00 per pair. Socks range from $1.50 – $3.80 if you choose to purchase rather than wear your own.
Lastly, there will be lane fees which can range from $3.50 to $17.00 per game for the public. Members and students will enjoy lower fees when playing as well.
Certain alleys will have two kinds of pricing, per player or game and per hour or lane although the majority will go with the former.

Bowling Alleys In The North
Sonic Bowl Choa Chu Kang
This alley features interactive gameplay where graphics are projected on the lane floors that will follow along the ball when thrown. This is available every Saturday and on the eve of public holidays from 9 pm till closing.
For people who are looking to book event venues for birthday parties or other events, there is also a VIP room with 2 private bowling lanes and a KTV section which can be booked for a fee.

Best Bowling Alleys
For the public, these alleys offer the cheapest prices during peak hours.
The cheapest place to play bowling in the North of Singapore will be at Sonic Bowl at Choa Chu Kang for $5.50 per game.
In the North-East, Forte Bowl offers the cheapest rates at $5.00 per game.
In the East, bowling games at Gallop Bowl are the cheapest with games costing $5.50 whilst SuperBowl Tampines has games at $6.00 for the public.
SAFRA Mount Faber has the cheapest in the central region at $5.50 per game. K Bowl also offers ‘club-themed’ games at $17 for a more unique bowling game.
For the West, Westwood bowling has $4.20 games. For the more professional Temasek Club is known as the go-to alley and it is currently the biggest bowling alley in Singapore.
