His lack of cooking skills aside, Elvin candidly spoke about the growth he’s experienced in recent years.

When asked by Chris about their current phase of life, Elvin said he’s now “very focused on getting rid of excess baggage”.

He said: “I used to be more stubborn. When I was younger, I tended to overthink. I don’t do that as much at my current age, and I just let nature take its course.”

Recalling Elvin’s words, Chris then said in a b-roll interview: “I think that he cares a lot about his achievements and performances, which resulted in him caring a lot about how others perceive him. He isn’t blaming others for their opinions of him, but instead, he’s particular about why they would feel that way about him.”

While on the topic of how they seek improvements and new challenges in their careers, Chris prompted Elvin to share about his experience of pursuing an acting course in New York.

Elvin said: “Aside from the time spent in my classes, I learnt a lot outside of my lessons as well. I went there by myself and I only had myself to look after. I felt every emotion very strongly, so I would cry or laugh very easily while there. I don’t know what happened, but all my emotions were amplified.”

“I feel that acting and real life are closely intertwined, especially when you’ve had more real-life experiences. If you never had these experiences, you’re just acting for the sake of it,” he added.
