In a video that’s recently gone viral, Hong Kong actress Sandra Ng was at the premiere of her movie Love Lies when she suddenly received a declaration of love from a fan.
“I’ve always found you exceptionally beautiful, Sandra. I think you’re a lot, a lot prettier than Maggie Cheung,” screamed the fan.
As in screen beauty, movie icon, Miss Hong Kong 1983 first runner-up Maggie Cheung?
While we’re sure Sandra was feeling very shiok inside, what she did was to give an awkward smile while looking at the ground.
“I don’t know how to react,” she then said as she turned her back to the audience.
She eventually addressed the statement by looking at the fan and saying: “We’re not the same type! We’re totally different!” while gesturing “no” with her fingers.
Come on, Sandra. Just accept the compliment.
The actress will be in Singapore this Sunday (Nov 24) to judge the Star Search 2024 finals. Maybe tune in to see if she’s prettier than Maggie?
