A bungeoppang (fish-shaped pancakes) street stall vendor in Seoul has become an internet star due to his resemblance to Korean heartthrob Jung Hae In of K-drama Something In The Rain fame.
Nicknamed Bung Hae In (‘cos bungeoppang, geddit?), Kim Jong Oh is reportedly a freelance model and his snack stall is just his side business.
Since going viral a month ago, crowds of locals and tourists have flocked to Jong Oh’s stall near Sillim Station to catch a glimpse of the handsome hawker and buy his bungeoppang.
Video posted online showed snaking queues of customers waiting in line for his snacks.
Not only has business boomed, Jong Oh saw a surge in Instagram followers and the model has become sought after by fashion brands and for appearances on shows.
