HK Host Eileen Cha Complains About Waiting 20 Minutes For Her Luggage At Airport, Mocked By Netizens For Being Self-Entitled

Hong Kong host Eileen Cha (查小欣), 65, recently encountered a situation that left her extremely dissatisfied when she was travelling home from Kuala Lumpur.

While it can be a pain waiting in line at the airport customs and baggage collection, many would agree that it’s simply part and parcel of travelling. Not Eileen though.

Recounting her experience at the Hong Kong airport, she lamented in a social media post: “Can’t believe it! This is unlike the level of efficiency expected in Hong Kong. My flight arrived at 21:19. It’s now 21:37, and I haven’t seen a single piece of luggage.”

Turns out, Eileen wasn’t very pleased about having to wait for her luggage. In fact, the 20-minute delay at baggage collection proved to be way too long for her. To further hammer home her point, she hashtagged “#so slow” at the end of her rant.

It didn’t take long for netizens to call Eileen “unreasonable” and “self-entitled”. They felt she had set her expectations too high, especially since the flight she took was operated by AirAsia, a low-cost carrier.

“She thinks she’s taking a private plane,” mocked one netizen.

The funniest comment? “If she’s in such a rush, she can climb onto the luggage conveyor belt and retrieve it herself.”
