How to Unlock Jafar in Dreamlight Valley
Upon completing The Now and Then, you’ll receive Jafar’s Lamp, which requires a little more than rubbing to release Jafar from his lamp. To release Jafar, you’ll want to travel to The Plains, where you’ll need to find a 2D Cactus.
The Cactus location will differ for each player, so keep a close eye out, as it can be easily missed. We found ours close to the stairs leading to The Oasis.
Oswald’s Quest, The Lesser Evil, will trigger upon picking up the Cactus. During The Lesser Evil, you’ll need to find two more 2D items, collect three research notes, and then you’ll visit the Cave of Wonder and finally be able to release Jafar from his lamp, unlocking him as a villager.
