Who knew Hyun Bin was this adorable after a few drinks?
Hyun Bin fans recently got to see a different side of the suave Korean actor when he got a little tipsy on comedian Shin Dong Yup’s YouTube series Salty Brother Shin Dong Yup.
The 42-year-old star was on the show with actors Park Hoon, Park Jeong Min, and Jeon Yeo Been to promote their new movie, spy thriller Harbin.
When sharing about his family life, Hyun Bin humorously called his wife, actress Son Ye Jin, “the queen”, and their two-year-old son, nicknamed “Little Sweet Bean”, the “crown prince”.
He also behaved like a giggly teenager, whispering something into Dong Yup’s ear, then quickly covering the latter’s mouth to stop him from revealing it.
His playful remarks and antics tickled netizens, with many describing him as “cute”.
The notoriously private actor also opened up about his relationship with Ye Jin.
He shared that though they starred in 2018 crime thriller The Negotiation, their first collaboration, they didn’t get to act together in the same space as he filmed his scenes in the basement while Ye Jin was on the third floor of the building.
“I really wanted to work with her in the same setting, and that wish was fulfilled in (2019 K-drama) Crash Landing on You,” he said.
Hyun Bin added that he is very grateful to have met Ye Jin and that he “never imagined his life would change so much.
“From dating to marriage and now having a child, it’s like men grow into adulthood step by step,” he said.
When Dong Yup remarked that Hyun Bin looked happier after getting hitched, the actor broke into a shy smile.
The couple tied the knot in March 2022 and welcomed their son the same year.
