“I’m Better Than AI”: M’sian Influencer Cathryn Li To Haters Who Said Pics Of Her Hot Bod Were Generated By AI

Malaysian influencer and pianist Cathryn Li, 35, who boasts over three million followers on Instagram, is well known for having a super toned figure.

Cathryn, a self-professed fitness athlete, is not shy when it comes to sharing snaps of her perfectly hourglass-shaped bod on social media, where she also often shares gym and diet tips.

She recently posted a picture of her toned midsection with this pointer: “How to train for a trim waist: Ensure sufficient intake of protein, abstain from refined sugar and refined starch, and focus on training your oblique muscles (girls should lift weights 5kg or heavier).”

Despite her well-intentioned advice, Cathryn received a bunch of negative comments from her haters, some of whom insisted that she “used AI to generate fake pictures of her body”.

A case of sour grapes, perhaps?

Cathryn immediately hit back at the accusation, declaring: “Excuse me, but I’m more outstanding than AI. It’s not possible for AI to create something more impressive than my actual figure.”

Guess who got the last say there?

Cathryn is no stranger to controversy. In 2021, she was made to give a public apology and go on a temporary hiatus after posting an IG story on women’s physique that was seen as body-shaming.

In 2023, she was accused of flaunting her wealth after accidentally posting a screenshot which displayed her 40.36mil ringgit (S$11.7mil) bank balance. She was also accused of “faking” said bank balance.

More recently, Cathryn wrote a Threads post calling out an unnamed Malaysian celeb for his actions.

According to her, she met the “tall and handsome” celeb at a party. The two were acquainted for less than three months, and while he was still pursuing her, the man asked her for a 38K ringgit (S$11.6K) loan.

Though Cathryn did not further elaborate on the situation, many of her followers chimed in on her post, saying that what the male celeb did “was not right” and that “it was no different from swindling”.
