Class 95 jock Jean Danker broke her shoe on the day she received her Mediacorp Long Service Award
25 years sure flew by quick.
It feels like it was only recently when we first heard Jean’s signature voice on 987.
However, we were brought to laughter when her Class 95 colleagues The Muttons, who hosted the Mediacorp Long Service Awards ceremony, shared that Jean’s pair of heels had given way earlier in the day.
Apparently, the 45-year-old star had not worn the pair since the 2020 lockdown. She also poked fun at herself saying “it always pays to have a zillion other pairs of shoes stashed in your car”.
Wait, did someone wish for her to “break a leg” before heading out?
