You’ve probably heard of Singapore’s iconic mascots like Singa The Kindness Lion and Sharity Elephant. But what about Toilemon?
The toilet cleanliness mascot, launched in 2022 under the “Keep Singapore Clean” campaign, encourages people to keep our public restrooms clean.
The character has toilet rolls for eyes and a toilet seat lid for its mouth… and looks more like a blue duck.
Toilemon forms the public cleanliness trio with its pals, Trayremon and Trashemon, whose names are pretty self-explanatory.
Toilemon recently appeared at a Cleaner Public Toilets Campaign roadshow at Senja Hawker Centre, and netizens had a lot of cheeky things to say about it.
“Would you want to sit on Toilemon’s face?” asked one netizen, while another comment read: “The implication of a design like that is that it eats shit and drinks pee.”
Another netizen also joked that Toilemon’s special power is “soaked toilet paper”, and when used against others, is a “super effective” move.
Guess this is what we call potty humour.
