Being a second-gen star means you probably have lots of celebrity aunties and uncles rooting for you.
Cantopop singer Kenny Bee’s 19-year-old daughter Blythe, for one, already has a fan club made up of A-listers.
Blythe, who studied film in the UK, recently made her showbiz debut and was spotted at the premiere of Chinese variety show Ben Fu! Wan Ren Xian Chang.
At the premiere, the organiser played a video featuring some ‘fans’ expressing their support.
But these weren’t ordinary fans.
The people in video included Jacky Cheung, Tony Leung Ka-Fai, Alex To, Rosamund Kwan, Jordan Chan, Shu Qi, Cheryl Yang, Richie Ren, Gina Jin and former Super Junior M member Zhou Mi.
Shu Qi even called herself a “pioneer fan” of Blythe.
After the event, Kenny also took to Weibo to hype his daughter up and to rally public support for her.
Kenny has two daughters, Blythe and Eloise, 14, with wife Fan Jiang, 59. He has two other kids, Nicholas, 32, and Chloe, 27, from his previous marriage to socialite Teresa Cheung.
