The problem with Korean Fried Chicken
Everyone likes fried chicken, but not when you have to make it yourself! Deep frying at home is just a little too messy for some who prefer not to deal with the oil splatters around the kitchen.
Well, what if I told you that you can make Korean-style fried chicken, which is crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, with an air fryer? Okay, it might not be exactly like the deep-fried version, but if it were even 80% close to it, used 99% less oil, and could be done in 30 minutes, I am sure you wouldn’t mind giving it a try, right?

Kikkoman Less Salt Soy Sauce
The other thing about Korean fried chicken that everyone loves is the addictive sauces that the crispy wings are covered with. One of the most popular is the soy garlic sauce, which is very easy to make at home. All you need is soy sauce, mirin, and sake, the standard Japanese ingredients. Add a bit of minced garlic, and you will have a delicious sauce to go with your crispy wings.
It has come to my attention that there is a general feeling that Japanese soy sauce tends to be saltier than the Chinese version. In that case, Kikkoman Less Salt Soy Sauce might be something you would want to try. Kikkoman soy sauce has a characteristic fragrance that chefs like and is brewed naturally with only soybeans, wheat, salt, and water.
After it has undergone fermentation, it goes through another desalination process to reduce the salt content but still retains its fragrance and umami. In general, Singaporeans consume too much salt in our diet, so this is one way of cutting back on salt intake, which is good, especially for those with high blood pressure.
