SINGAPORE – In a dazzling celebration of Chinese New Year, visitors to the Marina Baywaterfront are in for a treat with a free, spectacular drone performance titled ‘The Legend Of The Dragon Gate’. Scheduled to illuminate the skies for six days in February, this event promises to be a highlight of the festive season.
The show, featuring a majestic dragon composed of 1,500 drones, is a collaborative effort between the Singapore Tourism Board, Marina Bay Sands, and UOB. It will run at 8 pm on 6, 10, 11, 16, 17, and 18 February.
‘The Legend Of The Dragon Gate’ is more than just a visual feast. It tells the story of the mythical Dragon King, incorporating themes of family reunion, perseverance, and symbols of luck and prosperity. This narrative was detailed in a joint press release issued by the three organizations on Thursday (January 25).
But the excitement doesn’t end with the drone show.
Visitors can extend their evening with ‘Spectra – A Light & Water Show’, which will commence at 8.30pm and 9.30pm on the same dates. This additional spectacle promises to enhance the celebratory atmosphere at the Baywaterfront.
