Malaysian TikTok user @ramj__ recently shared a clip of himself and two other friends pranking their pal in a way that would make superstitious people squirm in their seats.
He wrote: “POV: Picking up a friend in the funeral van”, and in the video, the group was seen driving a hearse towards the Sultan Ismail Petra Airport in Kelantan.
It wasn’t specified if they rented the hearse for the occasion, but they were all clearly tickled by the idea and could be heard giggling uncontrollably the moment they saw their friend from afar.
Their pal was blissfully oblivious to what was happening and it wasn’t until he saw his friends in the hearse that he, too, burst into laughter.
The puzzled glances of onlookers made him slightly embarrassed as he made a beeline for the back of the hearse. He then took his seat where the coffin is usually placed.
Many netizens have expressed their amusement at the video. Some said the group were making “great memories”, while others shared their own experiences riding in the back of a hearse.
Others were envious of their friendship, with one noting that they must have been so close to ignore superstition to play such a prank.
