New Footage Shows Why Woman Uses Body to Block Car at Second Link

What do you do when you need to cut into another lane in a jam?

You signal, and probably put our your hand to thank anyone who gives way.

You don’t get someone to stop a vehicle from moving so that you can cut in.

Well, someone did it, and with that, over 3.8 million people now learn a new way to change lane.

Here’s what happened.

Woman Uses Body to Block Car So Her S’pore-Registered Car Can Cut In

A video showing how a Singapore-registered car blocking a car with her body at the Second Link to let her own vehicle cut ahead had gone so viral, the original video has well over 3.8 million views and garnered over 12K shares.

While it’s not revealed, based on the footage, it appears to occur at around 1pm on 15 September, on the Malaysia side of the Second Link.

You can watch the video here.

In the video, a woman wearing orange stepped out of a Singapore-registered car and hurried in front of the camcar, using her body to block its path so her car can cut in. She seemed to be saying something, the video had no sound.

Even as she stood in front of the camcar, the camcar appears to inch forward, but the woman persisted, staying in front of the camcar and mouthing something to the camcar.

It was when her car managed to cut in that she went back to her car, gesturing something at the camcar before boarding her car.

Most of the comments condemn the woman, joking at how she managed to “cut in” with her body instead.

However, there’s now a new footage showing what happened before that.

In a new footage, presumably taken from the woman’s car, it appears that the woman’s car wasn’t trying to cut queue.

Instead, they were merging both trying to merge into a lane, and somehow, her car appeared to be somehow “squeezed” out from the lane, which resulted in her car trying to merge back into the lane.

You can watch the video here.

Nevertheless, it’s a dangerous move; watch this video to the end (about another incident) and you’d understand:
