Visitors can head over to New York Street to find the larger-than-life inflatables of laser blasting Mega Mel, super strong Mega Dave, flying Mega Gus and indestructible Mega Jerry.
Over at the Lagoon Stage, visitors can also catch Gru and his family: Lucy, Margo, Edith and Agnes.
NEW SHOW
What’s a new movie without a new USS show? This new show, titled Mission: MEGA, follows the Anti-Villain League (AVL) as they seek volunteers to test their new Mega technology which transforms people into Mega humans.
After their mission attracted unwanted attention, minions Kevin and Stuart, as well as the AVL have to prevent a “Mega disaster”.
Visitors can look forward to a meet-and-greet with Kevin, Stuart and the Mega humans at the end of the show at the New York Public Library.
MINION FLASH MOB
Don’t be alarmed when a group of Minions start dancing in the middle of New York Street. The AVL Minions will be launching into a high-energy dance performance with their Minionvasion flash mob.
Visitors will also have the chance to meet these grooving Minions at their meet-and-greet at the New York Public Library.
MERCHANDISE AND FOOD
The Minion love doesn’t need to stay at USS. Visitors can find an exclusive Despicable Me 4 movie range at the Universal Studios Store and Minion Mart.
Besides clothing, visitors can also find plushies, fart blasters and action figures, among other merchandise.
That’s not all. There will be a new UNIVRS store at the former The Brown Derby in the Hollywood zone.
There, visitors can find exclusive merchandise inspired by Universal characters. For the initial limited Summer 2024 launch, there will be the Minions x Buff Monster collaboration, as well as merchandise for other fan favourites like the Woody Woodpecker, Hot Stuff and Back To The Future.
Do note that merchandise is released seasonally and in limited quantities.
Meanwhile, visitors can also dig into Despicable Me 4-themed food at Popcorn Delights, Mel’s Drive-In, Star Snacks, KT’s Grill and Loui’s NY Pizza Parlor. There will be treats and beverages including burgers, pizza, cupcakes, macarons and popcorn.
A Mega Despicable Summer is included with regular admission to USS. Tickets retail from S$74 per adult and S$59 per child. From Jun 10, tickets will come with a S$5 meal voucher and a S$5 retail voucher. For more information, visit the RWS website.
